Advisory:
r8168 driver for the wired network adapters by Realtek was updated to v8.045.08. Support for the kernel 4.15 was also added.

Tried the driver on a laptop with appropriate hardware - seems to work OK: https://linux-hardware.org/index.php?probe=01de466aa8.
