Bad Linking of Farsight gstreamer Libraries results in Pidgin Audio and Video calls failing when using XMPP Servers. The symptom is that when Pidgin engages an Audio or Video call, the error message "The Call is Terminated" appears.

It would be nice to check if ne pidgin built with new gstreamer and farsight is free of this problem; new packages are available in bug 6569.

I will try and look into this when I can. I had forgotten about this bug.

New packages have been published to repos. Hopefully they are free of the problem. Feel free to reopen the bug if they are not.
