Tried to set slim instead of lightdm
it is not configured at all
config files pointed to unexistent folders
session is just hashtagged while there should be DE names synced with wmsession.d-sessiondir

Slim is unsopported DE in Contrib, not in Main. I will not spend time to fix and support it - may be any Community members fix this. Set bug to Contribute package.

Could you try the recently upadted slim-1.3.6 (should be already pushed to repos)? It should be configured better, though this is a community work; as Aleksander said, we don't have much time for such packages.

not really working ---

first it should be ask to install some kind of new /etc/slim.conf but it didn't
second my main session is 23E18 - enlighnment e18, not sure if it is written correct, but i can login with kde and cannot with slim, F1 - to change session is not working too, to change config file it should parse /etc/x11/dm/Sessions to get proper set of available DE before installation and maybe it true for all other dm.
