sendmail выдает ошибки в логах.

This is a question of configuration. Sendmail tries to resolve hostname and since no public DNS can resolve your hostname.

To use sendmail, you should either set hostname to some public server name or just add smth like this to /etc/hosts:

127.0.0.1 polkovnik.ru polkovnik

Суть в том, что я не работаю с sendmail. Если система использует его, пускай сама и настраивает под себя.

Давайте из коробки его выключать.
