Description of problem:
When VLC loses avi files, he «duplication» in memory. Was not observed before this, usually 2-3 thread, and here anymore.

These are multiple threads of the same VLC process. You can hide/show them in htop by pressing the "H" key.

VLC decides by itself how many threads to launch and it's ok. Note that this situation doesn't lead to greater memory consumption, since all threads of the same process use the same memory area.
