ROSA Linux Bugzilla – Bug 841
rm 2012 ee rp1, no drakproxy in MCC
Last modified: 2012-10-05 13:48:11 MSD
Description of problem:
if you want to set a proxy for system then in MCC there is no drakproxy for launching drakproxy in internet part
you must use command line to launch drakproxy
This is intentional. We recommend to use Proxy configuration from KDE control Center (aka "Configure Your Desktop", "Network Settings" section). We have patched it to affect not only KDE apps, but all programs that were previously affected by drakproxy. Drakproxy is now considered to be obsolete.
The underlying intention is to have a unified configuration place and not to jump between MCC and KDE CC.
