Does this printer work in 2012 Marathon? And does ROSA Control Center detects it without a driver from brother.com?
According to this page: http://www.openprinting.org/printer/Brother/Brother-HL-2035 the printer is supported by hl1250 driver, but it seems to me that this driver is not included in ROSA atm. But you can try to add it manually - go to http://www.openprinting.org/driver/hl1250, select you printer, generate ppd file, put that file to /usr/share/cups/model and restart cups. Now the driver should become visible and you can try to use it for your printer.
It dud not help.
The printer is normally detect by Rosa Marathon without driver.
when i start printing first time after reboot system, printer starting make noise, as if he now begin printing. But but nothing happens...
Even then the printer does not make noise...
The cups packages versions:
Max! Do you printer work?
From bug #3241 - cupswrapperHL2030-2.0.1-1.i386.rpm package from vendor's site makes the printer work. It makes sense to check that package and improve our drivers.
