Description Eugene Budanov 2017-06-19 02:33:21 MSD
Description of problem:
This problem appeared after updating to PulseAudio 7.1 on KDE 4 (rosa2014.1) and exists on KDE 5 with PulseAudio 10 (rosa 2016.1) on x86_64.
If you have more than one soundcard (f.ex internal laptop card and external soundcard with better quality) all sound from apps will be routed to internal default card even if you changed priority in Phonon settings.

In KDE 5 this problem partially fixed as can I see, but for KDE apps only. Wine applications, GTK+ application (f.ex DeaDBeeF) or Steam games needs manual changing of source playback setting through pavucontrol. It's a real problem, because not all software allows to change this.

Workaround: open pavucontrol and change manually source of playback for certain app.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
KDE 5.9.4, PulseAudio 10.0
