When I start XFdrake on that system, it reports the following error and refuses to work:

Interestingly enough, the problem only happens when the system boots with kernel 4.8.14.

If I boot it with the kernel 4.1.34, XFdrake starts fine and seems to work.

Could it be that XFdrake tries to access, say, some files in /proc or /sys to detect the GPU(s) and the layout of these files or the format of the data they contain differs?
