ROSA Linux Bugzilla – Bug 670
SimpleWelcome bad behavior with recent applications
Last modified: 2013-11-15 14:51:13 MSK
Description of problem:
When I launch an application by typing its name in the search bar, she's never stored in the recent applications section
Also, it doesn't take into account if I use the last application memorized. Using the last stored application should move her at the first place of the section "Recent applcations"
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
I am currently testing "ROSA 2012.1 alpha" and the problem of storing applications called from the search filter is no longer present.
What I don't understand is that the version of Rosa-launcher is lower in 2012.1 alpha than in 2012 Marathon. Why ?
[root@Rosa2012 ~]# cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="ROSA Linux 2012.1"
[root@Rosa2012 ~]# rpm -qa rosa-launcher
To be honest in ROSA Desktop 2012 will be completely redesigned SW 2.0. Alpha version of it will be accesseble in several weeks.
I'm afraid it's too hard to backport such functionality to Marathon. For Marathon, we primarily fix serious bugs and vulnerabilities and this issue is not crucial.
