xsession-errors

Description of problem:
ROSA 2012 LTS 357th iso and 377th iso.
Firefox often crashes. Especially when you open Gmail. In the mail I go 3-4 times! Sometimes on other sites goes down. In syslog writing "Process ХХХХХ (firefox) dumped core".
In file xsession-error a lot of mistakes, not only on firefox, but and other applications.
I attached strace file, xsession-error and part syslog.

now we have firefox 17.0 ir rosa marathon.
bug is still relevant?

In Marathon i not tested. I used 2012 Fresh.
Perhaps user "FirstLevel" will be able to check this.

I use ROSA Desktop.Fresh release 2012.1 (Desktop) for x86_64.

Firefox dumps core each time I quit the program.

A quick extract of strace firefox :

The latter report looks similar to bug #497. In that case, error appeared after installing proprietary fglrx* packages, though the last comment in that bug says that everything works fine with Desktop.Fresh.

So do you use proprietary ATI drivers?

And it still interesting to know if original bug (regular FF failures, not only on quit) is still valid in Marathon.

I do not use ATI drivers.

I'm running Intel graphic card.
But I'm also using enlightenment.

Firefox and Thunderbird dumped cores with enlightenment only and not using kde.
Do you want me open a specific bug ?

Yes, please.

Actually we don't pay much attention to Enlightenment (its support in ROSA is mostly done by enthusiasts), though I wonder why the bug is specific to particular DE...

I use first computer proprietary ATI drivers and in second computer not use proprietary ATI drivers. Now, i checked both my computers after update all works (in ROSA Marathon LTS)
