Description Zombie Ryushu 2015-06-17 00:25:38 MSD
Some udev rules misidentify the Canon MG2500 series printers. (2520, 2540)

This udev rule will get CUPS to properly identify the Printer for cnijfilter

#Canon
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="04a9", GROUP="lp", MODE:="777"
Comment 1 Zombie Ryushu 2015-06-17 00:28:34 MSD
Its added to /etc/udev/rules.d/10-cups_device_usb.rules
Comment 2 Denis Silakov 2015-06-17 00:38:13 MSD
Good point, but why "777" mode? Isn't "666" enough?
