For new version I see such things:
1. Icon is presented in SW mc-01.jpg
2. If I launch MC from icon in SW I see that icon on rocketbar is from konsole mc-02.jpg
3. I see that colour scheme is differ. If I launch from SW - black&white&blue. If I launch from konsole - blue&white. mc-run-from-konsole.jpg
4. For new MC with the black&white theme I see that menu is blue. mc-03.jpg

Is it normal?

Yes is my personal touch in menu entry , I mean that if launched from menu then is darkfar skinned, :-),
As you can see above I used darkfar.ini skin, just to have a nicer mc if launched
From menu entry.
If launched mc in a terminal this will load the default skin, the blue one.
as for the icon transparency I just convert the svg from kde-look.org, everything gplv2,

Sorry forgot to mention that.

Is not about scarring no one, we had a talk on ml about try to make our terminal,
nicer, actually the russian menu entry is made by rosa guys,(Bondrov if I recall it right, anyway I don't speak no russian...), and it was decided to avoid bashrc but to get better look where apply, and import a moded gentoo collorised....but ok , I'll restore the git to it's previous status, you are the boss.
Thank you.

Can you assemble a new version of the standard colors?

My whole point was to ha a nicer skin, and full featured mc beside the menu entry,
The skins are shipped in the mc tarball source, so I've just picked one nicer,
I'm just a contributor, so I'll live the main packages to the main packagers.
If somebody whant a new, full featured ,and nicer look for mc can pick it from rosalinuxro.
