(There are also no english release announcements)

I think, there are also no torrents available ?
Comment 2 Denis Silakov 2015-03-18 23:36:46 MSK
URLs have been added, torrents are also available.

Gnome3 release notes in English are on their way, not sure about the LXDE ones. But on the other hand, LXDE R5 release didn't introduce anything new in LXDE itself; the purpose of LXDE R5 image was to provide newer versions of user-level software (LibreOffice, Firefox, etc.) out of the box.

I think a simple announcement for the LXDE version with the mentioned updates for the user-level software (and like i guess, secure boot support, non free nvidea/ati drivers ?) is nice, especially that its clear (for google results etc) that there is a lxde version:

Otherwise might it look for some people, that lxde is unsupported, while the new version is already available since months.

If the GNOME 3 announcement is ready, is it sense full to list it and the LXDE version in the general R5 announcement as well, where the KDE version is currently also the only entry.

Agree, this makes sense.
Comment 5 Denis Silakov 2015-03-25 17:51:57 MSK
The wiki has been updated.

The ROSA Desktop Fresh Page is still the same, links just to the KDE Announcement, which is not marked like that:http://wiki.rosalab.ru/en/index.php/ROSA_Desktop_Fresh_R5

(ROSA Desktop Fresh R5 Release Notes = KDE Release Notes: http://wiki.rosalab.ru/en/index.php/ROSA_Desktop_Fresh_R5_Release_Notes)

Added links to more notes to that page, as well. Thanks.
