Description Andrey Ponomarenko 2015-01-16 21:10:16 MSK
Description of problem:

I'm trying to open second drive (SSD) in Dolphin, but got this error message (see snapshot of the screen in the attachment):

An error occurred while accessing 'Home', the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error mounting /dev/sda6 at /media/andrey/58063282-164c-4e29-90e6-36d56604e1b8: Command-line `mount -t "ext4" -o "uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid" "/dev/sda6" "/media/andrey/58063282-164c-4e29-90e6-36d56604e1b8"' exited with non-zero exit status 32: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda6, missing codepage or helper program, or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so

The error doesn't occur immediately after reboot. But it will occur usually after about 30 min - 1 hour of work.

I've tried also to mount this drive manually with no luck:

$ sudo mount -t ext4 -v /dev/sda6 tmp/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda6,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail or so

The primary drive is HDD.

Also I can boot successfully from second drive.

HW probe: http://hw.rosalinux.ru/index.php?probe=750476af28

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

R3 KDE, x86_64, after all updates

How reproducible: usually half an hour after reboot

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to mount second drive
2.
3.

Just in case: are you sure you can boot from that specific partition, sda6?

The dmesg log messages look like there's some kind of hardware problem. I'd recommend to change the SATA cable and then try again.
Comment 3 Andrey Ponomarenko 2015-01-17 11:08:14 MSK
I can boot from sda5 (it is /root) and work on it without any problems. sda6 is a /home partition.

Probe after reboot when all works well: http://hw.rosalinux.ru/index.php?probe=ae97bb1dc9
Comment 4 Andrey Ponomarenko 2015-01-17 11:10:56 MSK
The second drive is connected directly to the SATA slot on my notebook without the use of any cables.

Try:
dd if=/dev/sda6 of=/dev/zero bs=1M
Will it show any errors?

Also, boot in Live mode and check the file system:
fsck -f /dev/sda6
Comment 6 Andrey Ponomarenko 2015-01-20 11:37:11 MSK
dd if=/dev/sda6 of=/dev/zero bs=1M

doesn't show any errors
Comment 7 Andrey Ponomarenko 2015-01-20 11:56:16 MSK
[live@localhost ~]$ sudo fsck -f /dev/sda6

fsck from util-linux 2.24.2
e2fsck 1.42.5 (29-Jul-2012)
