Seems to be related to upowerd. When the problem happens, the following error is in the log:

-----------
upowerd[4539]: (upowerd:4539): UPower-Linux-CRITICAL **: up_backend_get_critical_action: assertion 'backend->priv->logind_proxy != NULL' failed
-----------

Please try upower 0.99.2, see if it helps. You can get it here:

From the log:
-------------------
дек 18 21:48:50 R5-586-Lenovo-G570 dbus[4519]: [system] Activation via systemd failed for unit 'dbus-org.freedesktop.login1.service': Unit dbus-org.freedesktop.login1.service failed to load: File exists. See system logs and 'systemctl status dbus-org.freedesktop.login1.service' for details.

What 'systemctl status dbus-org.freedesktop.login1.service' outputs?

Добавлю сюда ссылку на данные hw-probe от того пользователя, чтобы по Opennet'у каждый раз не искать её:

Comment 10 Vladimir Potapov 2014-12-29 14:43:26 MSK
With kernel 3.17.7 power events work correct... only after sleep-wake-up.
With old kerlel too!

But close-open notebook cover events work only new (or laptop) kernel

A similar problem in other laptops lenovo

See #4828. The root cause seems to be the same.
