Desktop Boot Error
Two different Behaviours in my desktop and my laptop
Desktop: An asus X79-Deluxe board with latest bios: If Secure Boot is enabled the flash drive does not boot and I get the message reported in the attached image.
If Secure Boot is disabled, the flash drive boots, but when the intallation reaches the grub configuration step an error message warns that secure mode is not enabled. In any case it is possible to override the message and complete successfully the installation.
Laptop: Dell Inspiron M6600 Latest Bios, no secure Boot Feature in Bios, the pendrive is not recognized as a UEFI bootable device. To install Rosa it is necessary to start in MSDOS boot mode, complete the installation, and then boot with a compatible live distribution and reinstall and configure grub in efi mode.
I had the same problems with R3. Roughly 1 year ago I tested my system with other Linux distributions, finding that Fedora had the same problems, while UBUNTU and Opensuse had no problem on both systems.
