Description Andrey Ponomarenko 2014-11-18 17:06:14 MSK
Description of problem:

If I connect the external TV, then it shows the black screen. Any newly opened application will be shown only on the connected TV, but not on the screen of the PC and so I can't control them (the PC is too far from TV).

It was not so obvious how to set up mirroring. To do that I must open the Display Configuration program, set up the same resolution on both screens, drag the icon of the LVDS, drop it on the icon of the HDMI-0 TV and then click apply button.

I think the mirroring should be set up by default. Otherwise it is a blocker bug for home users.

Note that screens are automatically mirrored at the installation step, but after login it is reconfigured.

The Display Configuration program should be simplified in the future.
