Description Konstantin Vlasov 2014-10-28 21:58:53 MSK
When first partition starts at 63th sector (which was default for a long time) and ROSA is installed on btrfs-formatted partition (without separate /boot), Grub installation fails with the following two error messages (not exact quotes):
1) core.img is too large to fit the boot area (note: it's ~38 Kb while only 32 Kb space is available);
2) btrfs does not allow block lists (note: it seems, Grub tried to write only part of bootloader into boot area and place the rest into the file system, but failed because of btrfs peculiarities).
