Description Evgeniy 2014-05-26 10:42:26 MSD
Description of problem:

When I tried to login, I got: "Call to lnusertemp failed."

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Rosa Linux Fresh
2. Enjoy the error

Who was wise enough to set the owner of user home directory to root?
Consequently, in order to solve this, get to failsafe/live medium/any console, set the home directory's owner to user and login.

ROSA.FRESH.KDE.R3.i586.iso

Unable to reproduce on http://mirror.rosalinux.com/rosa/rosa2012.1/iso/ROSA.Fresh.R3/ROSA.FRESH.KDE.R3.i586.iso
I guess steps to reproduce should include some details.

Ok, here the exact steps:
I have six Seagate hard drives.
I formatted all of them into ext4, and one of them is a swap partition.
They are mounted into:
"/"
"swap"
"/home"
"/home/xtemp09/Video"
"/home/xtemp09/Downloads"
"/windows" (ntfs-3g)

I couldn't boot because of lnusertemp error. With console I found that /home, /home/xtemp09, /home/xtemp09/Video, and /home/xtemp09/Downloads have root permissions.
Comment 5 Alexander Burmashev 2014-05-26 12:04:25 MSD
OK, i think that things are much more clear now.
External home dirs are mounted with root permissions.
