Description Ben Aceler 2014-04-17 23:06:13 MSD
Description of problem:

Any time you change the k
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

eyboard layout, for example, en->ru, the window temporarily loose the focus. This make some programs, that use loose focus event as a part of their UI, unuseable.

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
This is just an example of a program, you can try something else.

1. Open firefox. Open some page.
2. Press ctrl+s to save the page. The file save dialog will appear.
3. Press "new folder" button. The new folder will appear.
4. Try to enter some letters in the new folder name line. Change the layout.

Actual result: folder will disappear.

Expexted result: folder will not disappear and user can continue with entering new folder's name.

This can be an upstream bug, because I have the same problem with the new Ubuntu 14.04LTS.

This is definetly an upstream bug — tested on Fedora 20.

Confirm it.

Really pair of FocusOut/FocusIn events generated even on keyboard layout change by CAPS.

Probably, a lot of "a window loose activity" problems connected to this upstream bug.
