kwrite for root

For easy edit config files from root I create the file.
Add it to /usr/share/applications/kde4/ and new command show in context menu and main menu
Comment 2 FirstLevel 2014-10-08 16:44:47 MSD
Case is actual for 2014.1
Comment 3 Denis Silakov 2014-10-08 23:33:46 MSD
sudo is not intended to launch GUI applications that need to connect to X server. You can use kdesu, or "su -" to switch to root and then launch GUI applications ("-" must be used to preserve all necessary environment settings).
Comment 4 Vladimir Potapov 2014-10-09 10:02:34 MSD
In last versions this case not actual (GUI kwrite (root) exist)
