USB flash also no format used mkdosfs and gparted.
Comment 5 Postnikov Dmitry 2013-11-19 16:11:01 MSK
With old kernel-nrj-desktop-3.10.9 & systemd-194 - all normal formating mmc and flash. Without problems.
Comment 6 Postnikov Dmitry 2013-11-19 16:25:10 MSK
With old kernel-nrj-desktop-3.10.9 and new systemd-204-11 - NO format.
The problem is likely with systemd-204-11.

This is hardly the core. Because, if we revert to the old systemd everything works without problems. If again set a new systemd the problem is. So, the most likely problem in systemd(udisk).

PS.I have not formatted mmc nor the stick, but write works. And another tester not working record of the stick. The error output to the same in us.
Comment 9 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2013-11-21 12:41:42 MSK
Another testers has different error - they don't update udisks...

May be, but as far as they say in that bug report, the problems disappeared when they used an older version of Ubuntu (11.10) on that machine. When a newer one was used, the problem showed up again. It is unclear what exactly triggers it.
