Description ra oeai 2013-10-30 01:30:31 MSK
trying to start drakfirewall and it uses shorewall.services that points to /etc/sysconfig/shorewall config file, that is not included, so iptables -L is clean.
Comment 1 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2013-10-30 09:08:11 MSK
Run drakfirewall, setup rules and then run

iptables -L

- all works.

In Mandriva/ROSA shorewall all config stored in /etc/shorewall
Comment 2 ra oeai 2013-10-30 11:29:29 MSK
i was lloking in

/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/shorewall.service

that points to /etc/sysconfig/shorewall
Comment 3 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2013-10-30 11:37:45 MSK
Yes, config pointed from service, but we do not use this config anymore becouse our firewall mechanism is different that in Fedora for example, but we did not change upstream project if all works.
Comment 4 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2013-10-30 12:11:43 MSK
Also we wlll may create empty config in future.
Comment 5 ra oeai 2013-10-30 12:22:19 MSK
i'd put more network rules at least an ability of allowing everything for home network users in drakfirewall, if there's a private network addresses subnet on any interface.
