I like the configuration of your computer. And no such problem.
Try the Grub menu to add a line: acpi = force
You can also try adding the line: nomodeset acpi = force

PS: Confused lines, where the processor is not defined. I have two computers with AMD, everywhere is k10temp, etc. Also, says "Family ... processor...".

With such grub options
/proc/cmdline: BOOT_IMAGE=3.0.28-nrj-desktop-2rosa.lts root=LABEL=LINUX nokmsboot logo.nologo quiet resume=UUID=f0ade040-4a54-1289-4fd8-dc45f5e5376a splash=silent vga=788 acpi=force
situation is repeated.
Computer was rebooted when user press "Shutdown the system"

Also acpi=strict could not solve the problem for standard kernel.
But I have feedback from another user that kernel http://abf.rosalinux.ru/downloads/kernels_devel_personal/repository/rosa2012lts/i586/main/release/kernel-desktop-3.4.3-1rosa.lts-1-1-rosa.lts2012.0.i586.rpm solve problem with reboot instead of shutdown system.
Comment 5 FirstLevel 2012-08-10 15:50:13 MSD
After giving "ACPI=OFF" option s recomended ""abit rules" <abitrules@yahoo.it>" on rosa-devel computer is hanging at all.
Comment 6 FirstLevel 2012-08-15 08:51:51 MSD
BIOS update from 206 to 210 series does not help.
Workstation is rebooted after user has pressed Shutdown.
