RDS main components configuration fails: Backup directory /home/archives does not exist or is not a directory

server6.4 x86_64, installed default set of packages, pretty much "next" all the way. created local user, running basic main configuration with replication enabled.

false alarm. /home filesystem was nfs mounted.
however it seems that there must be a better place for archives location, please consider /var
Archives folder must be made customizable during initial configuration.
Found it hardcoded:
# rpm -qa | grep mmc | xargs rpm -ql | xargs grep -l /home/arc
in case where /home is handled by an automounter having hardcoded
destpath = /home/archives
is very inconvenient.
