Description Zombie Ryushu 2013-08-03 07:45:18 MSD
I request that the mars_nwe (MARtin Stover's NetWare Emulator) package enables Linux to provide both file and print services for NetWare clients (i.e.,
providing the services of a Novell NetWare file server). Mars_nwe allows the sharing of files between Linux machines and Novell NetWare clients, using NetWare's native IPX protocol suite.

This was on Mandriva, but I request a Rosa build for mars_nwe pl21, bugfixed for newer Linuxes.

This update almost completely re-writes it for Modern Linux, and restructures for cmake.
Comment 3 Denis Silakov 2013-10-16 18:12:53 MSD
mars_nwe has been build for contrib.

Though none of us is familiar with Netware so we can't test the package. I am also afraid that we can't fix it if something works wrong...
Comment 4 Mario Fetka 2013-11-05 13:36:15 MSK
the config file path is hardcoded so the move in the spec wont work you have to pass the etc dir to cmake
take a look at the gentoo ebuild
http://git.disconnected-by-peer.at/dbp/linamh/tree/net-fs/mars-nwe/mars-nwe-0.99_p22.ebuild

also a init script is missing here you can see what to start
http://git.disconnected-by-peer.at/dbp/linamh/tree/net-fs/mars-nwe/files/mars-nwe.initd

a still there bug is that its only x86 or more precisely -m32
still searching a proper fix for that problem

thx
