Description of problem:
I have installed ROSA 2012 LTS and plugged Wacom Bamboo Pen.
All existing packages I have installed too:
[root@mykomp ~]# rpm -qa | grep wacom
Wacom is visible in system - it follows from output of some commands. See attach.
But I can understand, how to configure this device.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
User has said that there is no string with his productID (00dd) in table /lib/modules/3.08.38-nrj-desktop-1rosa.lts/modules.usbmap, but other string with the same vendorID are exists. And he think this is a reason for wrong loading usbhid module instead of wacom.
User has analyzed situation and discovered following:
1. Файлы modules.alias, modules.usbmap и modules.dep is generated by depmod after rebuilt kernel module.
2. Current viersion of wacom module does not support my device
3. As described at site linuxwacom my device is supported(есть соответствующий productID=0x00dd).
4. It is necessary to rebuilt module wacom that would be support nmy device
Case is not actual. Rosa was changed by Ubuntu.
