Username is empty

Description of problem:
In 260th iso. KDM does not write "username" in the system settings. In the second phase of the installation, when the form comes with the addition of a local user, enter "username", login, and password. Then in the KDE in the "Customize Desktop" - "Account" - "User profile" field "Name" - empty.
See att.

As far as I can understand, it is not a problem of KDM, but installer. I think, installer does not write username to the appropriate place for KDM.
Comment 2 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2012-05-01 14:16:21 MSD
Installer ONLY create user with propertly name (see drakuser for example).
Comment 3 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2012-05-01 14:20:34 MSD
For additional - user name in KDE not username in system - it's own base kontact name. It's not error for installer and KDE. I close bug.
Comment 4 Postnikov Dmitry 2012-05-01 14:33:21 MSD
I undestand. Closed.
Comment 5 Denis Koryavov 2012-05-01 21:42:21 MSD
No. It is the error. If you open SimpleWelcome you will see the real user name for user, but this user name do not saved in KDE settings. It should be fixed. It is debatable question what should be fixed: installer or KDE, but it should be fixed anyway.
Comment 6 Aleksandr Kazantcev 2012-05-01 21:50:30 MSD
Denis - see in drakuser. All name settings with user profile available (created but useradd command and stored in /etc/passwd file). In KDE username different. It's part of profile and not use system users part (may you setup email for user by useradd command?).

If this name will be similar, as full user name, we need change KDE part.

But first need investigate about KDE name - what is this and why it not system.
Comment 7 Aleksey Yermakov 2012-05-01 21:52:34 MSD
In SimpleWelcome username is taken from KUser::fullName() or, if that was empty, from KUser::loginName(). It's KDE facilities.
Comment 8 Aleksey Yermakov 2012-05-04 11:50:37 MSD
This issue is fixed and will be in updates repos as soon as posible.
