ROSA Linux Bugzilla – Bug 1736
[UPDATE REQUEST] gnome-control-center
Last modified: 2013-03-01 15:34:09 MSK
crypt passwords with sha256 (ROSA Default). Before user accounts store password into /etc/shadow with sha-512 and login does not work.
How to check: try to create a new user from the GNOME Control Center and activate this account (create password for him). If you try to login as a new user you can't do this with the current version of gnome-control-center, but if you install a new version of gnome-control-center and create a new user account from it, everything will be fine.
The error is not fixed in this update.
I tested both the architectures, the login into the newly created by gcc account is impossible.
Have you created new user from the new version of gnome-control-center or used old one?
I create new user.
