Comment 1 Stanislav Fomin 2013-09-17 03:58:35 MSD
"task-gnome-minimal" over KDE version of 2012.1 works badly
and unsupported/untested

We have different tested KDE/GNOME/LXDE distributions for KDE/GNOME/LXDE lovers respectedly.

Seems the bug is too old and nobody cares.

BTW, complete "task-gnome" over KDE/2012.1 works better (but some issues with icons/themes may occurs).

We believe that this bug is fixed in the latest gnome packages. Feel free to reopen if you are able to reproduce it.

The bug is still present in 2014.1 also .
Comment 4 ghibo 2014-11-21 02:14:58 MSK
I get the problems over rosa2014.1, drivers nvidia304.123:

dkms-nvidia304-304.123-9-rosa2014.1.x86_64
nvidia304-doc-html-304.123-9-rosa2014.1.x86_64
nvidia-additional-settings-1-3-rosa2014.1.noarch
x11-driver-video-nvidia304-304.123-9-rosa2014.1.x86_64

The journalctl -xn shows also this error:

(gnome-shell:18651): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'gnome-shell' received an X Window System error.
traps: gnome-shell[18651] trap int3 ip:7faed1269d40 sp:7fffbd1608d0 error:0

We have recently updated the whole Gnome stack in our repositories. Does somebody have this issue with modern Gnome?
Comment 6 Denis Silakov 2016-01-25 19:33:12 MSK
Ok, let's optimistically close this as "worksforme". Feel free to reopen or filea ne bug if you still have gnome-shell crashes with modern ROSA Desktop Fresh.
